Winn's Pizza and Steakhouse Norwalk

Winn's Pizza and Steakhouse in Norwalk has earned its reputation as one of the most beloved family dining destinations in the greater Des Moines area. Conveniently located at 1611 Sunset Dr in Norwalk, Iowa, this locally owned gem is just a short drive from Des Moines and well worth the trip for anyone seeking a satisfying, unpretentious meal with genuine Midwestern hospitality.

What sets Winn's apart from other Des Moines area steakhouses is its remarkable range. Where else can you find USDA choice cuts of steak, handmade egg rolls, authentic gyros, a full salad bar, and award-worthy pizza all under one roof? The menu reflects the personality of the restaurant itself — diverse, generous, and crafted with care. The crab rangoon alone has developed a loyal following among regulars who make the drive from Des Moines, Indianola, and surrounding communities specifically to enjoy it.

As a family-owned establishment with over a decade of history rooted in the Indianola square, Winn's brings that same warmth and community spirit to its Norwalk location. Owner Winn and his dedicated staff treat every guest like a returning neighbor, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming whether you're grabbing a weekday lunch or gathering a crowd for a family dinner. The Norwalk location is open Monday through Saturday, offering lunch and dinner service with ample parking and easy access from major routes connecting the southern Des Moines suburbs.
